Most of us are aware of Viruses, Malware or Ransomware which are malicious programs designed to infiltrate your computers, company servers or data. The common defence is to use strong passwords, 2-step authentication and anti-virus programs.
A less known but equally serious way of infiltrating company systems is through "social engineering" - which relies on human psychological manipulation into performing actions or divulging confidential information. The best defence against social engineering is education.
